ARHGAP31 antisense RNA 1 (ARHGAP31-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA gene located on human chromosome 3. It is transcribed from the antisense strand adjacent to the ARHGAP31 gene, but its biological function is uncharacterized in the published literature and major gene function databases. There is currently no evidence linking ARHGAP31-AS1 to specific cell biological roles, molecular pathways, disease associations, or pharmacology[3][6][9]. Its annotation reflects only its genomic position and antisense relationship to ARHGAP31, a well-characterized Rho GTPase-activating protein linked to cytoskeletal organization and Adams-Oliver syndrome.
