ARPC1A pseudogene 3 (ARPC1AP3) is a human pseudogene located on chromosome 12 and is a retrocopy of the parental gene ARPC1A, which encodes a subunit of the actin-related protein 2/3 complex. As a pseudogene, ARPC1AP3 does not produce a functional protein and has no known biological activity or therapeutic relevance. Pseudogenes are generally regarded as non-functional remnants of genes, often due to mutations, deletions, or lack of necessary regulatory elements. There is currently no evidence linking ARPC1AP3 to any biological process, disease role, or drug interaction.
