Pseudogenes arise through gene duplication or retrotransposition events and typically lack regulatory elements or coding potential, making them genomically silent except in rare regulatory contexts[4]. In summary, ATP5MC1P3 is a pseudogene and not a valid drug target or functional biological molecule.
