ATP6AP1 divergent transcript (ATP6AP1-DT), also known as CH17-340M24.3, is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) gene located in the human genome. It is named for its divergent transcription from the ATP6AP1 locus, but it does not encode a protein or function as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or other classical therapeutic target. Its precise biological role, molecular function, and involvement in disease are currently uncharacterized. It should not be confused with ATP6AP1, a protein-coding gene for an accessory subunit of the vacuolar ATPase implicated in disorders of glycosylation and some forms of lymphoma[1][3][4][5]. There are no known drug interactions, mechanisms of drug action, or biomarker roles for ATP6AP1-DT at this time.
