Target intelligence / Profile preview
ATP8A1-DT (ATP8A1 divergent transcript) is a non-coding RNA gene located near the ATP8A1 locus. Unlike the protein-coding ATP8A1 gene, which encodes a P4-type ATPase involved in phospholipid transport, ATP8A1-DT does not produce a functional protein and currently has no known biological role, function, or disease association[5]. It is annotated in gene databases to indicate divergent transcriptional activity near ATP8A1, but there is no evidence establishing it as a molecular target or therapeutic entity.
