B cell receptor associated protein 31 pseudogene 1 (BCAP31P1) is a human pseudogene, annotated within multiple human genome databases[4][3][6]. Pseudogenes are DNA sequences that resemble functional genes but are rendered nonfunctional through mutation, insertion, deletion, or other processes[2].
