B cells and myeloid cells refers to two distinct lineages of hematopoietic cells rather than a single molecular target. B cells are the mediators of humoral immunity, characterized by the expression of surface markers like CD19 and CD20 and the production of antibodies (NIH, "B Cell Development", 2023). Myeloid cells constitute a diverse group of innate immune cells, including monocytes, macrophages, and neutrophils, which are involved in phagocytosis and cytokine production (Nature, "Myeloid cells", 2024). These cell types are frequently involved in the pathogenesis of hematologic malignancies, such as lymphomas and leukemias, as well as various autoimmune disorders. Therapeutic strategies targeting these cells often involve monoclonal antibodies, CAR-T cells, or small molecule inhibitors that disrupt specific signaling pathways. However, because this term describes broad cellular categories rather than a specific protein, enzyme, or receptor, it is classified as an incorrect or overly broad entry for a molecular target. Analysts should identify specific molecular targets within these populations, such as CD19, CD33, or BTK, for precise therapeutic evaluation.
