Target intelligence / Profile preview
B lymphocyte (B cell) proliferation refers to the process by which B cells undergo clonal expansion after activation. This is a critical step in the adaptive immune response, enabling the body to generate sufficient numbers of antibody-producing cells and memory B cells following antigen exposure. Dysregulation of B lymphocyte proliferation underlies various immunological disorders, ranging from immunodeficiency to autoimmunity and certain cancers like CLL.
