B7-H3, also known as CD276, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the B7 family of immune regulatory ligands. It acts as an immune checkpoint molecule that inhibits T cell activation and proliferation. B7-H3 is notably overexpressed in many cancer types and correlates with poor prognosis. Targeting B7-H3 with antibody-based immunotherapies is being explored as a therapeutic strategy.
