A bacterial cellular component refers to any structural or functional part of a bacterial cell. Bacteria are prokaryotic organisms, meaning they lack membrane-bound organelles found in eukaryotes. Their cellular components include both internal and external structures that are essential for survival, growth, metabolism, replication, and interaction with the environment.
