Overview

Bacterial cytoplasmic membrane permeability regulators are proteins or molecular systems controlling the passage of molecules across the bacterial inner membrane. These regulators, including porins, efflux pumps, and specific transporters, are critical for nutrient uptake, waste removal, and maintaining cellular homeostasis.
