BAZ2B antisense RNA 1 (BAZ2B-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) transcript generated from the opposite strand of the BAZ2B gene locus. As an antisense lncRNA, BAZ2B-AS1 has the potential to regulate the expression of the BAZ2B gene or adjacent loci through RNA-RNA interactions, chromatin modification, or other post-transcriptional mechanisms. There is currently no direct evidence linking BAZ2B-AS1 to a specific biological pathway or disease, nor are there therapeutically relevant drugs associated with its modulation. However, this class of molecules is increasingly investigated for roles in epigenetic and transcriptional regulation[4]. Information specifically about BAZ2B-AS1 remains sparse, and its clinical and biological significance requires further study.
