No drugs, biomarkers, or safety concerns are documented for BCAT1-DT, and its molecular and clinical significance remains largely uncharacterized[4]. **Key distinction:** Most of the published research relates to **BCAT1** (the protein, an enzyme), not **BCAT1-DT** (the non-coding RNA). If your interest is in the protein BCAT1, it is a validated therapeutic target and biomarker in multiple cancers, but information cannot be directly transferred to its divergent transcript.
