Overview
The Bcl-2 family of proteins is a group of evolutionarily related regulators that control apoptosis and maintain the balance between cell survival and death. They are divided into anti-apoptotic, pro-apoptotic multidomain, and pro-apoptotic BH3-only subgroups.
