BK polyomavirus (BKV) peptide-Major Histocompatibility Complex (pMHC) complexes are molecular assemblies consisting of viral protein fragments (peptides) bound to host MHC (HLA) molecules on the surface of infected cells (Source: Frontiers in Immunology, 2021).
