Target intelligence / Profile preview
BUD31 homolog pseudogene 1 (BUD31P1) is a human pseudogene, meaning it is a genomic DNA sequence similar to the BUD31 gene but lacking the capacity to produce a functional protein. It does not code for any known protein and is not implicated in any molecular pathway or disease. The parental gene, BUD31, is a spliceosomal component and has roles in RNA splicing and cancer biology, but these functions do not apply to BUD31P1. As such, BUD31P1 is not considered a therapeutic target, receptor, enzyme, or transporter.
No mechanisms of action as a target
