Overview
Chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 8 (CCR8) is a GPCR that mediates immune cell migration and immunoregulation, particularly through the recruitment and activation of regulatory T cells (Tregs). It is highly expressed on Tregs, especially within tumor microenvironments, and its primary ligand is CCL1. CCR8 is a target for immunotherapy, with monoclonal antibodies under investigation for depleting intratumoral Tregs to enhance anti-tumor responses.
