C-X-C motif chemokine 10 (CXCL10)

Target
CXCL10
Molecular classification
Chemokine, Cytokine
01

Overview

C-X-C motif chemokine 10 (CXCL10), also known as Interferon gamma-induced protein 10 (IP-10), is a small pro-inflammatory cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family. It is secreted by various cell types in response to interferon-gamma (IFN‑γ) and exerts its biological effects primarily through binding to the chemokine receptor CXCR3 on target immune cells, leading to immune cell migration.
