C-X-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 7 (CXCL7)

Target
CXCL7
Molecular classification
Chemokine, Cytokine, CXC chemokine family, Ligand
01

Overview

CXCL7, also known as C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 7, is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family. It is primarily released from platelets upon activation and plays a key role in neutrophil recruitment during tissue injury and inflammation. It signals primarily through CXCR2 and CXCR1 receptors and is implicated in inflammatory diseases and cancer.
