Carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 6 (CEACAM6), also known as CD66c and NCA-90, is a glycoprotein belonging to the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) family of cell adhesion molecules. It plays significant roles in cell adhesion, immune modulation, and cancer progression. Its overexpression is correlated with poor prognosis in several tumor types, making it a promising diagnostic/prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target.
