Carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule pseudogene 1 (CEACAMP1, also CEACAM22P, CGM8) is a non-coding pseudogene within the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) gene family, often referenced as "CEACAM22P" or "carcinoembryonic antigen gene family member 8 (pseudogene)." It is not a protein-coding gene and is therefore not considered a validated therapeutic target, receptor, or functional molecule. It is located within the cluster of the CEA gene family on human chromosome 19. Unlike functional members of the CEACAM family such as CEACAM1, CEACAMP1 does not encode a cell surface protein and has no established biological function or therapeutic relevance.
