Target intelligence / Profile preview
The CARD11-BCL10-MALT1 (CBM) complex is a multi-protein assembly essential for antigen receptor-mediated signaling in lymphocytes. It functions as a central hub for activating NF-κB, JNK, and mTOR pathways upon TCR or BCR stimulation. The complex is composed of CARD11, BCL10, and MALT1, and its assembly is initiated by antigen receptor engagement leading to downstream effects on immune cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. Dysregulation of the CBM complex can result in immunodeficiency or malignancies such as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
