CASZ1 antisense RNA 1 (CASZ1-AS1) is presumably a long non-coding or antisense RNA transcribed from the strand opposite the CASZ1 gene locus. There are currently no peer-reviewed studies, clinical resources, or biochemical databases clearly describing its biological function, disease associations, or pharmacological relevance. The majority of the research focus is devoted to the protein-coding gene CASZ1, which is a zinc finger transcription factor and tumor suppressor involved in cell fate determination, differentiation, cardiac and neural development, and the suppression of several cancers, particularly neuroblastoma[1][2]. There is no evidence in the authoritative biomedical literature that CASZ1-AS1 itself is a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or other target of therapeutic development. If you intended the protein-coding gene CASZ1 (not CASZ1-AS1), then it is a well-studied zinc finger transcription factor with major roles in development and oncogenesis[1][2]. But as written, CASZ1-AS1 is not established as a canonical molecular target in research or therapy.
