CBX3 pseudogene 5 (CBX3P5) is a DNA segment classified as a pseudogene related to the Chromobox homolog 3 gene (CBX3), which encodes HP1 gamma, a chromatin-associated protein involved in gene silencing, transcriptional regulation, and cancer progression.
