Through transcriptome profiling studies—including some related to Alzheimer's disease—CCDC13-AS1 has been detected as a non-coding RNA expressed in human tissues, but its specific function, regulatory targets, or molecular mechanisms remain unknown[3][4][7]. No literature links CCDC13-AS1 to direct biological roles, disease phenotypes, or responses to therapeutic intervention. Its presence appears to be of current research interest primarily for gene expression profiling or as a candidate regulatory RNA, rather than as a receptor, enzyme, or other druggable entity.
