Target intelligence / Profile preview
CCDC54 antisense RNA 1 (CCDC54-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA transcribed antisense to the CCDC54 gene. Like other antisense lncRNAs, CCDC54-AS1 is presumed to regulate the expression of its sense gene or nearby genes, primarily at the transcriptional or post-transcriptional level. Antisense lncRNAs commonly participate in gene regulatory networks by influencing chromatin structure, mRNA stability, or translation, but for CCDC54-AS1, no experimentally well-defined biological roles or disease associations have been documented.
No drug mechanisms reported for CCDC54-AS1.
