CCZ1 pseudogene 1 (CCZ1P1)

CCZ1 pseudogene 1 (CCZ1P1) is a pseudogene related to the protein-coding gene CCZ1, which encodes a component of the Mon1-Ccz1 guanine nucleotide exchange factor complex that regulates endosomal and autophagosomal trafficking[3]. The pseudogene itself does not produce a functional protein and has no known direct biological function, disease association, or role as a therapeutic target.
