CD26 antigen (CD26)

Target
CD26
Molecular classification
Ectoenzyme, Receptor, Type II transmembrane protein
01

Overview

CD26, also known as dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPPIV), is a 110 kDa single-chain glycoprotein expressed on the surface of various cell types, most notably immune cells. It functions both as an ectoenzyme with dipeptidyl peptidase IV activity and as a receptor for adenosine deaminase (ADA). It plays a role in immune modulation, T-cell activation, and chemokine modulation, making it a therapeutic target in cancer and immune disorders.
