CD27 Ligand (None)

Target
None
Molecular classification
Type II transmembrane glycoprotein, Tumor Necrosis Factor Superfamily Ligand
01

Overview

CD27L (CD70) is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the TNF ligand superfamily. It is the ligand for CD27 and plays a crucial role in T cell co-stimulation, B cell activation, and NK cell activation. CD70 expression is typically upregulated upon activation of immune cells and its interaction with CD27 is critical for adaptive immune responses. The CD27/CD70 axis is a target for cancer immunotherapy and interventions aimed at modulating immune responses in autoimmune disorders and transplant rejection.
