CD276 antigen (B7-H3)

Target
B7-H3
Molecular classification
Type I transmembrane glycoprotein, Immunoglobulin superfamily, B7 family ligand, Immune checkpoint molecule
01

Overview

CD276 antigen, also known as B7-H3, is a member of the B7 immunoregulatory family and functions as an immune checkpoint molecule with both costimulatory and coinhibitory roles in the immune system. It is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein with two pairs of immunoglobulin-like domains in humans. While mRNA is ubiquitously expressed, protein expression is upregulated in various solid tumors. It regulates T-cell-mediated immune responses and is considered a promising target for cancer immunotherapy.
