CD300 molecule like family member g (CD300LG, also known as CLM9, Nepmucin, or TREM-4) is a member of the CD300-like family of type I cell surface glycoproteins broadly expressed on hematopoietic cells[1][3][6]. It contains a single immunoglobulin V-like domain, classifying it within the immunoglobulin superfamily[1][6]. CD300LG functions as a receptor that mediates L-selectin-dependent lymphocyte rolling, which is critical for lymphocyte trafficking and cell adhesion in vascular endothelium[6]. It is suggested to participate in immune responses and may bind IgM antibodies[1]. Genetically, mutations have been associated with Klippel-Feil Syndrome 2, and it is likely to play a regulatory role in the innate immune system[1]. Other clinical or pharmacological associations are currently sparse. Note: There are currently no broadly recognized interacting drugs, mechanisms of action for therapeutics, or established biomarker associations in clinical practice for CD300LG. The protein is currently best characterized as a cell surface receptor with roles in immune cell trafficking and adhesion.
