CD34 antigen (None)

Target
None
Molecular classification
Sialomucin, Single-pass type I transmembrane protein
01

Overview

CD34 is a single-pass transmembrane phosphoglycoprotein, classified as a sialomucin, highly expressed on early hematopoietic progenitor cells and vascular endothelial cells. It functions as an adhesion molecule in hematopoiesis, facilitates T-cell entry into lymph nodes, and may act as an anti-adhesive molecule. Clinically, it's used as a marker for stem cell identification and tumor angiogenesis assessment.
