CD47 antigen (CD47)

Target
CD47
Molecular classification
Transmembrane glycoprotein, Immunoglobulin superfamily
01

Overview

CD47 antigen (also known as integrin-associated protein, IAP) is a widely expressed transmembrane glycoprotein that plays a critical role in immune regulation, cell signaling, and cancer biology. It acts as a "don't eat me" signal to macrophages by binding to SIRPα, inhibiting phagocytosis. Overexpressed in various tumor types, it is a target for novel immunotherapies.
