CD75s is a cell surface epitope defined by an α2,6-sialylated glycan structure. It is overexpressed or aberrantly presented in several malignancies, including lymphomas, myeloma, prostate cancer and melanoma, making it a therapeutic target for antibody-based therapies and immunotoxins like Aviscumine. Its biological function is not completely understood but it is associated with glycosylation patterns and immune recognition.
