CDC42 intronic transcript 1 (CDC42-IT1)

CDC42 intronic transcript 1 (CDC42-IT1) is a long non-coding RNA transcribed from the intronic region of the CDC42 gene locus. Unlike the protein-coding CDC42 gene, which encodes a small Rho-family GTPase involved in cell morphology, signaling, migration, and tumorigenesis, CDC42-IT1 does not encode a protein.
