Target intelligence / Profile preview
CDPF1 pseudogene 1 (CDPF1P1) is a noncoding pseudogene homologous to the CDPF1 gene. It does not encode a functional protein product and is not known to be involved in any disease mechanisms, biological pathways, or serve as a therapeutic target. Pseudogenes of this type may sometimes produce noncoding RNAs that regulate their parent gene or other genes via RNA-based mechanisms, but this has not been demonstrated for CDPF1P1 specifically[1][3].
