Target intelligence / Profile preview
CDRT15 pseudogene 10 (CDRT15P10) is a human pseudogene located on chromosome 17. Pseudogenes are genomic sequences similar to known genes but are typically non-functional due to mutations or lack of regulatory elements necessary for protein expression. While certain pseudogenes in the human genome have been shown to exert RNA-level regulatory effects—such as acting as decoys or sponges for microRNAs (miRNAs), thus indirectly affecting gene expression—the specific biological significance or functional RNA products of CDRT15P10 have not been described or validated in the literature to date. Therefore, CDRT15P10 is not considered to encode a protein, receptor, enzyme, or any other conventional drug target class. No drugs, disease associations, or biomarker roles are attributed to this pseudogene.
