Target intelligence / Profile preview
CDC25A is a dual-specificity protein phosphatase essential for cell cycle regulation. It activates cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) by removing inhibitory phosphate groups, promoting cell cycle progression at the G1/S and G2/M transitions. Overexpression of CDC25A is frequently observed in cancers, making it a target for therapeutic intervention. It regulates apoptosis.
