Cell division cycle 25B (CDC25B)

Target
CDC25B
Molecular classification
Enzyme, Dual specificity phosphatase
01

Overview

Cell division cycle 25B (CDC25B) is a member of the CDC25 family of dual-specificity phosphatases. It plays a critical role in cell cycle regulation, particularly in controlling the transition from G2 phase to mitosis (M phase). CDC25B achieves this by activating cyclin-dependent kinase complexes, most notably CDK1/cyclin B, through dephosphorylation.
