Cellular innate immune signaling" refers to the molecular mechanisms by which cells of the innate immune system recognize pathogens or danger signals and activate downstream signaling cascades. Central to these processes are pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) such as Toll-like receptors (TLRs), RIG-I-like receptors (RLRs), NOD-like receptors (NLRs), and others, which detect pathogen-associated or damage-associated molecular patterns. Engagement of these receptors leads to activation of signaling pathways including NF-κB, TBK1–IRF3, and inflammasome complexes, ultimately resulting in the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, type I interferons, and other mediators that initiate and shape the immune response[1][2][3][5][6].
