CENPN antisense RNA 1 (CENPN-AS1)

Target
CENPN-AS1
Molecular classification
Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA), Antisense RNA
01

Overview

CENPN antisense RNA 1 (CENPN-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA that is antisense to the centromere protein N (CENPN) gene. It is transcribed from the opposite strand of the CENPN locus, but its biological function, disease associations, and clinical relevance are currently unknown. Like many non-coding RNAs, its existence is inferred from transcriptional evidence, but there is no published data on involvement in specific cellular processes, diseases, or drug interaction.
