CERS2-AS1 (CERS2 antisense RNA 1) is a long non-coding RNA gene located antisense to the CERS2 gene. It is transcribed as RNA but does not encode a protein and has not, as of now, been described as a therapeutic target, biomarker, or molecule with an established molecular function or disease association in the biomedical literature or major curated databases[3].
