CHLSN antisense RNA 1 (CHLSN-AS1), also known as AC091729.7, is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) classified as an antisense RNA. It is upregulated in sinonasal squamous cell carcinoma and promotes tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. Functionally, it binds to and regulates the protein SRSF2, a serine/arginine-rich splicing factor, thus contributing to oncogenic processes. Knockdown of CHLSN-AS1 significantly inhibits tumor growth in experimental models, and its expression levels correlate with patient prognosis, suggesting that it serves as both a biomarker and a potential therapeutic target in sinonasal squamous cell carcinoma. No direct interacting drugs or therapies are currently reported.
