CTP:phosphocholine cytidylyltransferase (CCT) is the rate-limiting enzyme in the CDP-choline pathway, also known as the Kennedy pathway, which is the primary route for the de novo synthesis of phosphatidylcholine (PC) in mammalian cells (UniProt P49585).
