Target intelligence / Profile preview
CHRM1-AS1 (CHRM1 antisense RNA 1) is a putative long non-coding RNA transcribed from the antisense strand of the CHRM1 locus. Unlike the protein-coding CHRM1 gene, which encodes the muscarinic acetylcholine receptor M1—an established G protein-coupled receptor involved in neurotransmission and a key therapeutic target—CHRM1-AS1 is a non-coding RNA with no well-characterized biological function. There is a lack of published data on the molecular function, disease relevance, or pharmacological targeting of CHRM1-AS1. It is not recognized as a drug target or biomarker in standard biomedical resources.
