Target intelligence / Profile preview
Chromosome 10 open reading frame 129 pseudogene (C10orf129P, LOC100420983, ENSG00000256480) is a human pseudogene located on chromosome 10. Pseudogenes are genomic DNA sequences similar to normal genes but are non-functional; they may arise from gene duplication or retrotransposition. This pseudogene is unlikely to code for a functional protein, is not considered a receptor, enzyme, or druggable target, and has no known role in pathophysiology, drug interaction, or biomarker discovery[1].
