Chromosome 6 open reading frame 132 (C6orf132) is an uncharacterized gene that encodes a predicted long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) also referred to as LncCCLM or "cervical cancer lymphatic metastasis-associated lncRNA." Recent research indicates that altered expression of C6orf132 may be associated with lymphatic metastasis and poor prognosis in cervical cancer patients, suggesting a role in cancer progression[5][8][9]. Its specific molecular function and mechanism remain uncharacterized; there are no established therapeutic drugs known to target it, nor has it been validated as a classical therapeutic target (e.g., receptor, enzyme, transporter, etc.)[9]. While its utility is currently limited to biomarker research, further studies are required to elucidate its biological and therapeutic relevance.
