CLN8 antisense RNA 1 (CLN8-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA located on the human genome antisense to the CLN8 gene. Antisense RNAs typically function in the regulation of their sense gene counterparts through transcriptional interference, chromatin modification, and modulation of gene expression.
