CD20 (Cluster of Differentiation 20) is a non-glycosylated, membrane-spanning protein found on the surface of B lymphocytes. It plays roles in B-cell development, differentiation, signaling, calcium flux regulation, and cell cycling. Anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies are used therapeutically to target malignant or autoreactive B-cells in diseases like lymphoma or autoimmune disorders.
