Target intelligence / Profile preview
CD96, also known as Tactile, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. Primarily expressed on NK and T cells, it mediates adhesive interactions with target cells via CD155/PVR. Functioning as an immune checkpoint, CD96 blockade has shown promise in enhancing anti-tumor immunity, particularly when combined with other checkpoint inhibitors.
Blocking CD96 enhances anti-tumor immunity, potentially synergizing with PD‑1 or TIGIT blockade.
